Dave Belkiewitz - Aspiring Software Engineer
Hi, I'm Dave.
Welcome to Shotgun Don's
Peace, Love, and Now Coding -- Sorry No Guns...
First of all, this site doesn't have anything to do with shotguns. A couple years ago, I had been wondering what I was going to call my little YouTube Channel, when I had a dream where I was doing voice-over work for a commercial. In the dream, the last bit of the commercial stuck with me, "Visit Shotgun Don's! Now with our new location open on Mount Olympus.". I then realized this was the perfect odd-ball name for both the channel and this website.
Eventually, I hope to have many videos on many topics, and this website should serve to support all of it's online needs. In the meantime, I'm trying to showcase some of my abilities as an ongoing online slightly-interactive resume.
So thank you for visiting, and if I'm applying for a job with your organization, I hope you ask for an interview! :)

Examples of Coding Projects:
In the Fall of 1994, I dropped out of college to explore everything aside from math, coding and college. In January 2022, I decided to go back to college and finish my Senior Year. Since then, I have been completely surprised by my love for and still-relevant proficiency in programming! As all of my professional coding examples were lost sometime after 1994, I am including examples from this year's classes.
— Black Jack Strategy Tester - I have the result of the 1993 group project, but I'm still looking for the15k lines of C that created it.
— Pat's App - Still in development being ported from C++ to Java.
— RuneCaster App - Still in development.
— Arduino Fun: inventr.io's 30 Days Lost In Space Challenge - Currently on Day 14.
— Arduino Fun II: How About a Weather Station? - After Arduino Fun, I've been excited about trying to make a weather station--although I just received the beta of inventr.io's follow-up Quest project.
